Our precious Henry left us in October 2019. Our son who is in the Navy was thousands of miles away at the time. My husband found this site and, crying, I placed the order. They were to be a Christmas gift for our sailor who was coming home for the holidays.
I told him we had a sentimental gift; yet one that he could use often. He saved that little package for last. Moment of truth time. We all held our breath and quietly pulled the tissues from our PJ pockets. As he peeled back the paper, the sweet little Henry face peeked out from behind and the flood gates opened up! The room was reduced to emotional pulp. Our son eventually worked up the courage to put them on. And that’s when the room fell silent. Then, as if in church, we sat quietly, almost reverently, clutching our tissues, and smiling so wide at the sight of our 22 year old, 6 foot something, US Navy Fireman sniffling and adoring his Henry socks.

I ordered 3 pairs of socks with another pair free! I did that order for a horse and not a dog. I was so excited that I didn’t think about what was already on the socks (dog bones). I had already placed the order and I just said to myself, “oh well, I will get a pair of socks with horses and dog treats. My mistake!” However when I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised to see that someone had caught my mistake and actually changed the socks to have horse shoes on them instead!
